Ingredients
  • 2 - 4 c. potatoes
  • 8 wieners (hot dogs)
  • 1 (2" diameter) onion
  • 1/2 c. vinegar - 1 T.
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 2 T. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • pepper (to taste)
Directions Combine together vinegar, oil, sugar, salt and pepper. Set aside. Spread the cut up cooked potatoes, skinless and sliced uncooked wieners (1/2" - 3/4" or so) in an 8x11 1/2 baking dish. Slice the onion into 1/4" slices and mix into the potatoes and wieners. Pour the vinegar, oil, sugar, salt and pepper mixture over the potatoes, wieners and onion. Bake in a 350° degree oven about an hour. Stir the casserole occasionally.
