TACO SALAD

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 small head of lettuce
  • 1 c. grated cheddar
  • 15 oz. kidney beans (drained or rinsed)
  • 1-2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/3 c. sliced olives
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 c. tortilla chips (coarsely crushed)
  • 1/2 - 3/4 c. oil and vinegar or italian dressing
  • 8 oz. jar taco sauce
  • tomatoes
Directions Brown ground beef; drain. Add with salt and pepper. Combine hot meal with lettuce, cheese, kidney beans, olives, onions, tomato and chips. Toss with dressing, sauce and chili powder.
