Ingredients
  • 1 lb. lean ground chuck
  • 1 sm. onion - chopped
  • 1 sm. green pepper - chopped
  • 1 can chicken gumbo soup (do not add water)
  • 2 T. mustard
  • 2 T. catsup
  • 2 T. vinegar
  • 2 T. brown sugar
  • 1 T. Worcestershire sauce
  • dash of salt
  • dash of pepper
Directions Fry chuck, onion and pepper together until done. Drain off any fat. Add soup, mustard, catsup, vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Simmer for about 20 minutes. Serve on about 6-8 warm hamburger buns or hard rolls.
