| Directions | at 5:00pm - Mix Dough yeast, water, sugar, salt, shortening, eggs in blender or bowl. Add 8 cups flour (last 2-3 cups need to be stirred by hand), if needed add up 1 cup extra flour is dough seems sticky). Place dough in a greased bowl and cover, let rise until doubled.at 8:00pm - punch dough down, continue to let rise. Prepared baking pans. Use (3) 9x13" or (6) 9"pans. Pour 6 T melted butter in each pan; sprinkle with brown sugar. Set pans aside. Mix sugar & cinnamon.at 10:00pm - divide dough in half. Roll out 1/2 dough on floured surface. Roll to 1/4 inch thick rectangle. Spread enough melted butter to cover dough lightly, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Staring at long side, roll dough evenly. Cut into 1" slices and place cut side up in pans, leaving a small space between slices. Continue with other half of dough. Cover all pans with dish towels and let rise over night. In the morning bake 15-20 minutes at 375°. (rolls can be frozen in foil after baking.) |
