MACARONI SALAD

Ingredients
  • 1 c. acini de pe pe macaroni
  • 6 c. water
  • 1 20 oz. can of crushed pineapple
  • 1 lg. can of fruit cocktail
  • 1 can of mandarin oranges
  • 2 c. juice from fruits
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 T. flour
  • 2 eggs
  • dash of salt
  • 1 c. mini marshmallows
  • 1 12 oz. Cool-Whip
Directions Boil macaroni in water for 15 minutes. Do not drain. Drain fruit. Mix in a pan: sugar and flour. Stir in eggs real good and finally add the juice and dash of salt. Stir and boil until thick. Pour syrup over the macaroni. Mix and let cool. When cool, mix in fruit, marshmallows and Cool-whip.
