Ingredients
  • 1 c. whole or 2% milk
  • 3 T. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 gal. freezer Ziploc bag
  • 1 pint freezer Ziploc bag
  • 1 c. table salt
  • ice cubes
  • gloves or mittens
Directions Mix milk, sugar, and vanilla completely in pint bag. Seal carefully squeezing out the air. Must be sealed tightly. Put pint bag into gal. bag and fill 1/2 full with ice. Seal and turn over and over for a few minutes. Open gal. bag and pour in salt. Reseal, removing air, and put on gloves. Turn over and over for about 20 minutes until milk mixture has frozen. Remove pint bag and carefully rinse in cold tap water to remove ALL salt. Ice cream can then be removed from bag and enjoyed immediately.
