Ingredients
  • 6 oz. evaporated milk
  • 6 oz. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. small marshmallows
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • vanilla wafers
  • 1 qt. vanilla ice cream
Directions Combine evaporated milk, chocolate chips, marshmallows, and salt in saucepan and stir over medium heat until melted. Cool to room temperature. Line bottom and sides of 9 inch pie plate with vanilla wafers. Spoon half of ice cream (slightly softened) over wafers. Cover with half of chocolate mixture. Repeat with remaining ice cream and chocolate mixture. Freeze until firm (overnight). Double recipe for 13x9 inch pan. Triple recipe for 11x13 inch pan.
