Ingredients
  • 2 lb. cabbage - shredded
  • 1 green pepper - chopped
  • 1 good sized onion - chopped
  • 1 carrot - shredded
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. oil
  • 2/3 c. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. whole celery seed
  • 1 tsp. salt
Directions Mix cabbage, green pepper, onion, carrot and sugar. Mix well. In sauce pan, mix: sugar, oil, vinegar, celery seed and salt. Bring to a boil. Pour over cabbage. Mix well. Keeps in refrigerator a week (covered). Make 1-2 days ahead.
