Ingredients
  • 1/3 c. shortening
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 stick butter
  • cinnamon/sugar mixture
Directions Mix shortening, sugar and egg. Sift flour, salt, baking powder and nutmeg. Stir all together with the milk. Fill muffin tin 2/3 full. Bake 350° for 20-25 minutes. Roll in melted butter and then cinnamon/sugar mixture.
