Ingredients
  • 1/2 c. soft butter (oleo)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg + 1 egg yolk
  • 3 sq. unsweetened chocolate - melted
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions Cream butter; beat in sugar, eggs, chocolate, milk and vanilla. Sift flour with soda, baking powder and salt; add to butter mixture. Fold in raisins and nuts. Drop from tsp. on buttered cookie sheets. Bake 12 min. at 375°. When cool, top with frosting.
