Ingredients
  • 13 c. popped popcorn
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. Karo syrup
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions Pop the popcorn and put in a large Tupperware bowl. In a saucepan combine the brown sugar, Karo syrup and margarine. Bring to a boil and let it boil for 5 minutes exactly. Quickly add the baking soda and salt. Stir for a couple of seconds and immediately pour over the popcorn. Stir well to mix. Coat evenly. Pour onto 2 cookie sheets. Bake in a 250° oven for 30 minutes. Cool and break apart.
