BAKED CORN

Ingredients
  • 2 T. butter
  • 2 T. flour
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/4 c. milk and corn water
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • 2 c. canned corn, drained
  • 1 T. sugar
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
Directions Using juice from corn add enough milk to make 1 1/4 cup liquid. Melt butter in pan on medium heat, add flour and blend well. Slowly add milk mixture. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add corn, sugar pepper, and eggs, mixing thoroughly. Pour in a greased 9" square pan or casserole bowl. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. Garnish with bread crumbs.
